Ed Cunningham is running as a write-in candidate for the office of Mayor in Surprise, Arizona. He wants to make it clear what voters will not get from him: they will not get a polished politician or someone who is absolutely flawless. However, they will get a man who will do his absolute best for the community, dedicated to the responsible growth of the city. He is focused on the present while keeping an eye on the future, particularly regarding the hard-fought water retention rights.
With a background as a former firefighter and paramedic in the West Valley, where he also grew up, Ed emphasizes the importance of public safety. He also recognizes the need for public transportation. He believes in a servant leader mentality, aiming to build upon the strong foundation that the city already has.
Ed is excited about the opportunity to work for the residents, families, and visitors of this amazing city. He looks forward to the ballots being cast in July and is eager to serve as the mayor of Surprise.
